I don't really understand why but in the same way some people are addicted to soaps, I seemed to need a continuous supply of good quality science fiction - actually thinking about it, it doesn't particularly need to be quality either.  Maybe this is the result of watching Star Trek and Red Dwarf on TV in the evenings for most of my childhood years...

Anyway I thought I'd plug my favourite sci-fi podcast Escape Pod.  The podcast features weekly stories read by different authors and speakers, the content is totally mixed and includes anything from space opera, to political satire to superhero stories.  What is suprising about the podcast is the continuing high quality of the content - definately better than a lot of the stuff you can hear on the radio.
