Last week I found out that you can convert an Xbox Guitar Hero controller into a working instrument using garage band. Unfortunately I don't own an Xbox so I decided to see if I could do the same with the Wii version of Guitar hero... turns out you can. You need a few bits of software to get things up and running it's actually quite easy to do.

I designed these little guys on one lazy Sunday afternoon using Adobe Illustrator. You can download the flatpack design below if you'd like to make them at home.

Last Saturday I took an all day workshop on life drawing at the Richard Attenborough Centre and it was pretty hard, I gave up art at school at GCSE and as a result I know incredibly little about 'serious drawing'.

This is my latest entry to Illustration Friday a homage to television of the 80's.

I noticed the illustration section of the blog was a bit thin on the ground (I haven't actually done that much drawing lately) so I thought I'd upload a few old images.

This illo was originally done in with a simple fine liner. I scanned in the images and composed them with Photoshop and added a few drop shadows to give that layered effect.
